The 100-prong chasen has a distinctive, commanding presence that can instill confidence while whisking. In general, a higher number of prongs produces a finer, smoother foam.
However, because the handle grows thicker as the prong count increases, a 100-prong whisk may feel less comfortable for some users—especially those with smaller hands.
