Gyokuro is known as Jade Dew, and is made from same tea leaves as matcha. It is grown in unique coverings that protect it from harsh sunlight. This superior tea has more umami and natural sweetness than regular green tea. We recommend bringing out its rich flavour by brewing it at low temperature.. We have only a limited amount every season.
Gyokuro containts relatively higher caffeine than regural sencha. We drink it small portions to appreciate rich flavor.
This tea has very delicate flavor. Therefore, we highly recommend to use filtered water or bottled soft water and preparing at the proper temperature for brewing.
